The Iron King - Julie Kagawa
An interesting take on the world of faerie. This book is different than many other books of its kind. I found the story to lag a bit though until about page 200. The romance doesn't begin until almost the end of the book as well. Meghan is a typical character who doesn't realize who she is and her own capabilities. As the story progresses Meghan learns about herself and who she is. Meghan is a caring, selfless, powerful girl who could be used as a great weapon. Although this story seemed slow and didn't really get moving until close to the end, I will still be waiting for the next book to follow. The ending leaves you wondering and the build up of adventure, romance and what may happen in the world of faerie make me believe the next book will take off from the beginning.
